I have lived in mid-Suffolk since 2000 and have always enjoyed painting and drawing  —  it was my main focus throughout my school life.  Although it was always my intention to work in some area of art and craft, I found myself doing something completely different, as many people do !!

I decided to open my gallery in 2009 after 3 years of serious painting.  My idea behind the Long Barn Gallery is that all the art is original and affordable, without too many long winded descriptions !!   Prices range from £10 ~ £200 and I don't sell prints.  I love experimenting with different styles and different subjects  —  the coast being a particular favourite of mine.  I also try to source local hand-made gifts such as cushions, bags, jewellery, diffused glass and cards.  I have a studio on site, so please feel welcome to come visit me and see me at work.

I also have artwork on display at the 101 gallery and framing shop in Felixstowe, and in the cafe of the adjacent Crockery Barn.  I am a regular exhibitor at "art on the prom" in Felixstowe every year.  I regularly get asked to undertake commissions — whether they be big or small I really don't mind.

Much of my art work makes for an ideal gift, and I quite often paint things in different colours and sizes to suit room colour schemes.
